About
I have more than 6 years experience as a web designer/developer and Flash programmer.
Clients and employers include the AT&T (formerly Bellsouth) Technology Assessment Center (BTAC), ArtsWestchester, SKC Development, Big Block Studios, Cindy Dole (radio host), Brennan Agency, AMBUCS of Birmingham, Hunter Films, Lewis School of Princeton, and Southern Medical Association (SMA). I have also designed several sites for individual doctors, photographers, and graphic artists.
Working with SMA’s marketing department for over four years, I had the opportunity to serve in many capacities — web master, web designer, web developer, creative director, content manager, interactive strategist, project manager, and account executive. I managed SMA’s two primary websites (sma.org and smaservicesinc.com, initially designed by my predecessor) and I designed and developed many other standalone websites for SMA, including their medical journal (SMJ), medical conferences, their in-house travel agency, and a collection of online resources for their membership. SMA has since switched to a hosted association management solution and abandoned many of the websites I created. I also was responsible for all email marketing, analytics, search engine marketing, and other web/interactive projects (such as streaming video, CD-ROMs, and slideshows), many of which were built with Adobe Flash.
In the past, I’ve also worked as the Marketing Director for two organizations — Florida’s largest commercial real estate agency and a small community theatre company in Jacksonville. Prior to that, I worked for six years in New York City as the General Manager and Assistant Managing Director of Roundabout Theatre Company, one of the nation’s largest non-profit theatre companies with annual budgets in excess of $60 million. Among other duties, I managed their off-Broadway division, reversing its deficit-generating pattern to return an operating surplus of $1.2 million in my final two years there.
